Main Function

Is to prevent and manage chronic illnesses.

How it Works

Maintaining a healthy weight can be directly connected to making good food choices, consuming the proper amount of calories to achieve specific goals, exercising, getting proper sleep, staying hydrated, reducing stress, correcting certain endocrine weaknesses and addressing other health issues.

Cause of Weakness

Most Americans consume the unhealthy Standard American Diet (SAD).  This includes processed, nutrient and enzyme deficient foods which contain chemicals, fillers and modified ingredients that are detrimental to our health.  These foods can trigger feel-good hormones like serotonin which cause cravings and the desire to eat more.  A sedentary lifestyle, lack of energy, chronic health issues, poor adrenal health and emotional struggles can also be some reasons for weight troubles.  Other issues such as insulin resistance, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, adrenal weakness, excess stress hormones (cortisol) and disrupted gut microbiome can contribute to weight problems.

Common Problems

Being overweight or obese can increase the risk of developing serious health problems, including heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers. Losing as little as 5–10% of your current weight can lower your risk for these conditions.  It allows you to feel better, have more energy, improve mobility and reduce pain.
